Who We Are
We are YOU! The Sand Point Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) includes parents, caretakers, grandparents, relatives, guardians, community members and teachers of the children at Sand Point Elementary.
We are an affiliate member of the Seattle Council PTSA, Washington State PTA, and the National PTA. The National PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation.

Working together to support and advocate for the academic and social success of each child at Sand Point Elementary.
Our Mission
- Engage, inform, and partner with our diverse community;
- Develop and enhance the resources available to students, teachers and families;
- Provide a representative voice for our children.
What We Do
We work together to improve our children’s education, their school, and their futures. To achieve our mission, we organize school events, raises funds for projects that enhance the school and learning opportunities, help educate the community on legislation that impacts education, and advocate for the interests of our children.
Our projects and events include fundraising to improve school facilities and playground areas, the outdoor organic garden, the community tile mosaic in school entry way, Math Night, All School Barbeque, school potlucks, Heritage Brunch, Bring a Grown-Up to Lunch day, and much more.
