Sand Point Elementary PTA

If we can get every Sand Point parent, guardian, family member, or supportive community member to commit Just 2 Hours to our school this year, we can do amazing things for our kids.  Take the 2 Hour Power Pledge! We promise! – there’s no obligation beyond helping out in this small, but important way.  The research is clear – kids at schools with involved parents do better on all kinds of key school measures.  It’s simple. Just say Yes! I pledge to give 2 hours to Sand Point Elementary this year.  Once you’ve completed your 2 hours you will have the opportunity to be recognized on our volunteer Wall of Fame.  Involvement is for everyone.  Together, we can make a huge difference at our school!

This year we’re hoping to make it even easier for parents to volunteer and get involved. We’re using VolunteerSpot (the leading online calendar sign up and reminder tool) to schedule and coordinate many of our fundraisers and activities.

Here’s how VolunteerSpot works:

Depending on your responses on the 2 Hour Power pledge sheet, you may receive an email from our volunteer coordinator inviting you to sign up for an event/activity.  If you don’t recieve the email invitation- don’t worry, the links will be posted on this website- under the “Volunteer” tab above.  Click the link(s) to go to each invitation page on VolunteerSpot. Enter your email address to access the signup sheet.

You never need to register an account on VolunteerSpot – the system recognizes you by your email address.

Please give this new process a try – it will make it super easy for you to choose when and how to help, and saves our committee chairs and PTA leaders a tremendous amount of time getting everything organized.
